If you're like me, you spend WAY too much time in craft stores and dream of living a more creative life, which TBH, sounds perfectly normal to me 😉
After going to college for 4+ years and landing an unfulfilling 9-5 job, I started to neglect myself.
That's when I decided to pick up a camera and document my ENTIRE crafting journey. (No, it wasn't easy!) From messing up Cricut projects to launching my first craft business - the rest is history!
Now there's over 300,000+ of you across all of my platforms and I'm forever grateful to call this my full-time job. My main goal is to help others learn from the mistakes I made.

My Timeline
2024
- Launched my first few digital products & opened my 2nd secret craft business. Continuing to inspire more crafters every day!
2023
- Cried and reached 100K subscribers on YouTube!! Worked with Glowforge for the first time and dove into the laser cutting world.
2022
- Made lots of DIY Cricut wedding decor and moved into our first home. Was invited on my first work trip with 143 Vinyl. By the end of 2022, I had 50K on YouTube & 100K on IG!
2021
- Said goodbye to Etsy and rebranded as “Amy Makes That”. Switched over from small business owner to Cricut content creator. Landed my first sponsorship with Michaels. I hit 10K on IG!
2020
- Quit my 9-5 and legally registered my first craft business. Changed my IG to “ShopMewMoonCorp” and opened my Etsy shop.
2019
- Began my YouTube channel in January and graduated college in May. Juggled a part-time job and my full-time 9-5 with selling crafts and filming YouTube tutorials.
2018
- Bought my first Cricut machine in August and started my IG as “diybyamy”. I fell back in love with crafting again!
